Our Team Our Principal Bill grew up in his family’s construction business where he learned how to make sure a job was done well. Bill went on study management and marketing at Columbia University’s SIPA, which lead to a 8 years at American Express. At American Express he learned how to provide Superior Customer Service, via a number of projects that included the launch of the super exclusive Centurion (aka Black Card) and the Hilton Platinum Card. Bill left Amex in 2005 and use his combined skills to launch Urban Upkeep.
